Investigator Initiated Studies are defined as unsolicited, independent research brought forward by the investigator or the institution. Company personnel may not submit on behalf of the study personnel.
In an IIS, the
investigator serves as the sponsor and Integra Life Sciences provides support. The IIS support provided is either a
research grant and/or supply of an investigational medical device or medical
Investigator Initiated Study proposals are reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee comprised of Integra clinical, medical, regulatory and scientific personnel. Decisions are based upon the combination of scientific merit and business merit

- Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (including
component separation, muscle flap reinforcement, and other procedures following
